Platform Overview

📍 Where to access the Infra section in the UI

Applications menu → click on your app → the 🚀 green rocket icon on the app card opens the Infra / Hosting area dedicated to that app.

This is the entry point for all hosting features: architecture, builds, environments, databases, URLs, variables.

Wakastart is a PaaS (Platform as a Service) platform that hosts your apps. You declare your application's components (services, databases, dependencies); Wakastart provisions the infrastructure (databases, S3, DNS, SSL certificates), builds your code into Docker images, and runs the pods on Kubernetes.

The Infra section of the dashboard is where you:

  • Describe your application (services, databases, dependencies)
  • Manage its environments (dev, staging, prod, etc.)
  • Build your code into Docker images
  • Deploy and monitor

The mantra to remember

You declare what your app contains. Wakastart builds, hosts, and runs it.
