Resource Lifecycle (status)
Every resource managed by Wakastart follows a lifecycle:
textPENDING → PROVISIONING → PROVISIONED (or READY for DBs) ↓ (modifications) ↓ DESTROYING → DESTROYED
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
PENDING | Wakastart has noted your request, work is about to start |
PROVISIONING | Being created (creating GitHub repo, applying terraform, etc.) |
PROVISIONED / READY | Available and usable |
FAILED | Something went wrong — see provisioningError |
DESTROYING | You deleted it, cleanup in progress |
DESTROYED | Cleanup complete |
→ You may therefore see a resource move quickly from PENDING to PROVISIONING to PROVISIONED, or stay in PROVISIONING for a few minutes while the platform provisions it (e.g. creating a managed database at the cloud provider).
