Users
Manage administrator users and Customer accounts: creation, permissions, HDS roles, and profiles.
Users
This section lets you manage the accounts of people who have administrator access to the platform, as well as the accounts of a Customer's users.
When do you use this section?
- You want to invite a new administrator to the platform
- You need to change the access level of an existing user
- You want to activate or deactivate a user account
- You need to assign application profiles to a user
- You want to reset the password of a user
Accessing the user list
From the main menu on the left, click Organization then Users.
The list displays, for each user: their email address, their full name, the Customer they belong to, their administration level, their assigned profiles, and their status (Active / Inactive).
Creating a user
- Click + New user at the top right.
- Fill in the information across the different tabs:
General tab
- Customer: the Customer this user belongs to
- Email address: the address that will serve as login identifier
- First name and Last name
- Temporary password: optional — if provided, the user will need to change it on first login
- Email verification required: if checked, the user will need to verify their address before logging in
- Active: checked by default
Permissions tab
- Administration level: defines what the user can manage on the platform. You cannot assign a level higher than your own.
- User level: access level within the client application
HDS tab (health data)
If your platform is HDS-certified, you can assign specific roles to this user to control their access to health data:
- HDS Administrator — global management of health data
- Patient — access to patient-related data
- Healthcare professional — clinical access
- HDS Storage — storage management
- HDS Deletion — deletion authorization
- Medical access — access to medical data
Profiles tab
Select the application profiles to assign to this user (profiles define their rights within the applications).
- Click Create.
Managing a Customer's users
By accessing a customer's record, you can directly manage its users' accounts via the Users tab. You can:
- Deactivate or reactivate an account
- Reset the password: a reset email is sent to the user
- Edit the assigned application profiles
You can filter the list by name or email, or by application.
